The company's workforce diversity initiatives are designed to integrate diversity and inclusion practices and procedures throughout the company while the supplier diversity initiatives are designed to provide meaningful business opportunities for diverse (minority, female-owned, small businesses, veteran-owned, etc.) suppliers. In 2008, Vectren received the Evansville Human Relations Commission’s Workplace Diversity Award. In addition, we were recognized in 2008 by the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners and the Edison Electric Institute for our supplier diversity initiatives.
