Job Summary:
Maintains the coal stockpile, and loads bulk limestone for use in the scrubber. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyor systems, dust suppression activities and road snow removal. Operate large coal handling and limestone equipment. Perform light welding tasks and operate a backhoe and lift truck.
Keep the plant running full of coal. Maintaining equipment in good order. Removal of scrubber waste. Timely delivery of coal. Overtime work, including weekends and holidays, is required as needed. Work rotating shifts.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Job Related Formal Training: 1-3 years
Job Related Work Experience: 1-3 years; Coal handling experience is preferred.
Computer Experience: Requires the ability to use the computer for routine communication and data entry/retrieval processes
Must be able to work in cold and hot temperatures, noisy environments, at height, and be able to wear and use a respirator. The candidate must be able to walk stirs, walk inclines, climb ladders, kneel, bend, crawl, stand, and sit. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally, via phone and radio, with co-workers to coordinate the daily coal and limestone feed process.
Required to be available to work overtime.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
