Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio has pledged $1.1 million to Project TEEM (Teaching Energy Efficiency Measures),
a weatherization program aimed to assist income eligible customers weatherize their homes and repair or replace
old and inefficient natural gas appliances.
The Community Action Partnership of the Greater Dayton Area
will administer the program for Ohio counties
served by Vectren. Eligible Vectren customers must have family income not to exceed 200% of poverty, if
below 150%, you also must apply for
Percentage of Income Payment Plan
(PIPP) and applicable assistance
programs. Once qualified, customers will receive an energy audit which will identify areas of energy savings
that can result from whole house weatherization including the repair or replacement of faulty natural gas
furnaces or water heaters.
