What is a Vectren eBill?
Vectren’s electronic billing option (eBill) is simply the online delivery of your monthly Vectren bill. Each month you will receive an e-mail from Vectren Energy Delivery notifying you that your eBill is ready to be viewed online. This e-mail message will feature the amount due and its due date as well as a link that, when clicked, takes you directly to the Manage My Account section on Vectren.com. From here, you will have secure electronic access to your current and previous 24 billing statements to view online or print a copy if necessary. Plus, you can choose the option to pay your bill online, if you wish.
How do I participate?
You must first register with Vectren.com to enroll in eBill. If you do not have any online account, click here to register. You will need your Vectren account number.
If you already have a Vectren online account, just go to Billing and Payment Options and enroll in eBill.
Please note, when you enroll in eBill you should receive an e-mail every billing cycle around the same date each month. If you do not receive your eBill, it is possible that your spam filter may be deleting the file. If you do not receive a monthly eBill, please contact Vectren at 1-800-227-1376 immediately to avoid receiving a disconnect notice for non-payment.
How will I know if I've been approved for an eBill?
After you have enrolled, Vectren will send a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address listed
on your enrollment form. This e-mail confirmation will state that your enrollment has been
successfully processed and will verify your chosen e-mail address.
Will I still receive a bill through the mail?
After you have received the Vectren eBill confirmation e-mail, you will receive one last
paper bill in addition to the eBill. The paper bill will have a message confirming your current e-mail
address. All future bills will be electronic unless the bill includes a Disconnect Notice.
Can I get a printed copy of a bill once I am enrolled in eBill?
Once enrolled, Vectren will send you an email reminder when your bill is ready to be viewed online. You will have secure electronic access to your last 24 monthly statements that you can either print or view online at your convenience.
What if my e-mail address changes?
Visit Vectren.com, click on Access Online Account in the top
navigation bar and then select Billing
and Payment Options. From there, you can update your e-mail address.
How are payments made?
You can pay your bill online at Vectren.com by having your bill amount deducted from your checking or savings account. Just select Pay My Bill from the left navigation menu. Also, payments still can be made by mailing in your check. If sending your payment via the U.S. postal service, please be sure to include your Vectren Energy Delivery account number on the memo line of your check to ensure timely and accurate posting.
How can I discontinue eBill?
You can cancel eBill by simply visiting Vectren.com and clicking on
Access Online Account
in the top navigation bar then select Billing and Payment Options.
What happens if I move?
If you stay in the Vectren Energy Delivery service territory, you can continue receiving
an eBill. Visit Vectren.com and click on
Transfer Service.
