Southern Indiana Gas & Electric Company's (SIGECO) 4.8% preferred stock was redeemed on October 16, 2001 at a redemption price of $110 per share plus dividends accrued through that date. Vectren Utility Holdings, Inc had 7 1/4% Senior Notes, par value of $25, due on October 15, 2031 listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol, AVU. On October 19, 2006 these notes were redemmed for cash equal to 100% of the principal amount plus interest accrued from October 15, 2006 to the redemption date.

Yes, if you are a participant in Vectren�s Automatic Dividend Reinvestment and Stock Purchase Plan. (You may elect to have your dividends paid to you.) 11.�When are funds for common stock purchases invested?

Funds for stock purchases are invested on the first business day of every month. It is recommended that the transfer agent receive checks by the 25th of the preceding month.

13.�What do I do with my Indiana Energy or SIGCORP common stock certificates?

Stock certificates of Vectren�s two predecessor companies must be exchanged. Dividends from unexchanged certificates are accrued and will not be paid until an exchange has taken place. When appropriate unexchanged certificates and dividends will be escheated to the state of last known residence.
