What is a Vectren eBill?
With eBill, your monthly Vectren bill is sent to your email address. Each month, you will receive an email from Vectren Energy Delivery that features the amount due and due date as well as a link that takes you directly to the Manage My Account section on Vectren.com. From here, you will have secure electronic access to your current and previous 24 billing statements to view online or print if desired. Plus, you can choose the option to pay your bill through Vectren.com.
How do I enroll in eBill?
You must first register with Vectren.com and create an online account to enroll in eBill. If you do not have a Vectren.com account, click here to register. You will need your Vectren account number. If you already have a Vectren.com account, click here to enroll in eBill. Once enrolled, you should receive an email every billing cycle around the same date each month. If you do not receive your eBill, it is possible that your spam filter may be deleting the file. If you do not receive a monthly eBill, please contact Vectren at 1-800-227-1376 immediately to avoid receiving a disconnect notice for non-payment.
How will I know if I've been approved for an eBill?
After you have enrolled, Vectren will send a confirmation email to the email address entered on the enrollment form. This email confirmation will state that your enrollment has been successfully processed and will verify your chosen email address.
Will I still receive a paper bill through the mail?
No. After you have received the Vectren eBill confirmation email, you will receive one last paper bill in addition to the eBill. The paper bill will have a message confirming your current email address. All future bills will be sent via email unless the bill includes a Disconnect Notice.
Can I get a printed copy of a bill once I am enrolled in eBill?
Yes. At Vectren.com, you will have secure electronic access to your last 24 monthly statements that you can either print or view online at your convenience.
What if my email address changes?
Log in to your Vectren.com account. From the Manage My Account page, you can update your email address.
How can I make a payment?
You can pay your bill online at Vectren.com by having your bill amount deducted from your checking or savings account. Just select Pay Bill from the quick links or navigation menu. Also, most banks allow various bills to be paid via their online sites.
How can I discontinue eBill?
You can cancel eBill by logging in to your Vectren.com account. Billing preferences can be altered within the Manage My Account section.
What happens if I move?
If you stay in the Vectren Energy Delivery service territory, you can continue receiving an eBill. Visit Vectren.com and click on Transfer Service.
