About Payment Arrangement
What is a Payment Arrangement?
Through a payment arrangement, you can pay your total bill in smaller increments over a set period of time. This free service helps you keep your service connected and better manage energy costs.
How do I sign up for a Payment Arrangement?
You must first register with Vectren.com and create an online account to request a Payment Arrangement. If you do not have a Vectren.com account, click here to register. You will need your Vectren account number. If you already have a Vectren.com account, click here to begin the Payment Arrangement process.
How will I know if I’ve been approved for a Payment Arrangement?
You will know you’ve been approved once you click "Accept" on the "Confirm Number of Bi-Weekly Installments" page and the "Thank you" page appears. The specifics of the payment arrangement will be listed along with a message that says "Thank you, we have received your request for a Payment Arrangement!" We suggest you print this page for your records.
What if I fail to meet the due date(s) for my Payment Arrangement?
To keep your payment arrangement current, you must pay your bi-weekly installments by the due dates displayed on your monthly Vectren bill. In addition, you must pay the current charges on your monthly Vectren bill by the due date provided on that bill. Failure to meet both requirements will automatically break the arrangement, and you will be required to pay the entire account balance immediately to avoid service disconnection.
Is there a fee or interest charges for receiving a Payment Arrangement?
Will I still receive a bill through the mail?
Yes. Your next bill will arrive around the same time as the previous month unless you are enrolled in eBill. All Payment Arrangement installments and due dates will be displayed on your monthly Vectren bill. Failure to meet both requirements will automatically break the arrangement, and you will be required to pay the entire account balance immediately to avoid service disconnection.
