Heating and cooling costs make up the majority of your energy costs, which makes replacing your old or inefficient HVAC equipment one of the most impactful measures you can take to curb energy usage.

There are a variety of eligibility guidelines specific to each rebate. Please review all program requirements (PDF) before purchasing equipment or applying for rebates.

Available rebates

The rebates below apply to equipment purchased and installed between Jan. 1, 2018 and Dec. 31, 2018.

These rebates require Vectren natural gas service as the primary heat source.

  • Homes using Vectren natural gas are eligible for this rebate.
  • Input capacity must be less than 300 MBTUH
  • AFUE = Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency

These rebates require Vectren natural gas service as the primary heat source.

Furnace tune-up $50 rebate + bonus Wi-Fi thermostat (complimentary)

Offer details

  • Eligible customers receive a $50 rebate plus a complimentary Wi-Fi thermostat. This offer may end without notice subject to funding availability.

Eligibility guidelines

  • Important: The tune-up must be performed by a pre-approved contractor to be eligible for the rebate and bonus gift. View pre-approved contractors (PDF)
  • Rebate applies to eligible tune-ups performed between 8/1/2018 and 12/31/2018.
  • Homes using Vectren natural gas for all space heating needs are eligible for this rebate.
  • To qualify for the complimentary Wi-Fi thermostat, the home must currently not have a Wi-Fi thermostat installed. The contractor may charge an additional $25 to install the thermostat.
  • One complimentary thermostat will be provided per furnace tune-up performed by a pre-approved contractor. Each customer may redeem a maximum of two furnace tune-ups.
  • Customers with a prepaid furnace service agreement in-place with a contractor are not eligible for this rebate.
