Job Summary:
JOB PURPOSE: To support various areas of Vectren¿s electric demand side management (DSM) & Conservation department on a variety of projects, including portfolio data gathering, financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES: Develop, document and ensure procedures for compliance with key financial controls. Work with the Manager of Electric DSM & Conservation, as well as the market segment representatives in the department on reporting, budgeting and implementation of new DSM/Conservation programs involving the validation of technical data, time estimates and costs. Develop and document procedures to improve processes and ensure proper accounting of DSM/Conservation programs cost and energy savings. Assist with accounting related projects, including account reconciliations. Provide all DSM budgeting, forecasting, lost margin analytics and variance forecasting. Develop reports to meet management requests. Work closely with both the accounting and budgeting departments. Assist and coordinate subcontractors and vendors in analyzing contract and payment issues. Compile and maintain key performance and scorecard results for the department. Maintain and monitor key contract performance criteria. Reconcile pre and post evaluation data. Research incremental costs for program specific data needs.

Education and Certifications Required: Bachelor¿s degree.- in business, finance, accounting or related field. Preferred: Master¿s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field. Experience Required: 3 years of experience in an energy related field related to required job accountabilities. Preferred: 5 years of experience in energy-related field connected to required job accountabilities. Functional/Technical Competency Requirements Required: Customer focused, results oriented with the ability to solve problems. Must be detail oriented and possess strong leadership skills. Detailed knowledge of utility processes and procedures. Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
